Fillet Not Working

Why can't I give a fillet on top of this structure? are there any technical constraints that I have to look into? How can I give at least a 4mm radius fillet on the marked edge?

Hi @Anonymous, thanks for posting.

I think the fillet will be limited by the angle of the sides of your model. It is probably not physically possible for such rounding to be done in this case. I tried to more or less recreate your model and the maximum fillet I could get without an error was 7mm. If possible reduce the angle between the top surface and the side wall and see what rounding is possible.

If my answer helped you, please click Accept Solution. Thanks!

That is almost impossible to answer without having access to your model. Export as .f3d and attach to your next post.

@Anonymous

Works fine for me in my test.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
