Files MISSING

Similar to this issue I had last week @john.koerner.

Now I have files missing from "my recent data" and my "1-Work" folder.

I definitely have more than 1 folder and 1 file in my "1-work" folder. I can even do a search for the file I'm looking for:

1.png2.png

I DEFINITELY did not put it in the folder "A OLD"  inside my "1-work" project but that's where it is apparently. ALSO Fusion's saying I last worked on the file yesterday at 1:11 but.... also... this morning at 5:23AM. Both of those things can't be true and I was definitely asleep at 5:23AM:

I have also DEFINITELY worked on more things recently than just 2:

Restarting Fusion did not resolve these issues.

@john.koerner  If the below issue is what I'm experiencing then the issue is not resolved:

@FrodoLoggins Sorry for the issues you are encountering.

The incident that was resolved was around generating viewable data for designs, so it should not impact your navigation in the data panel.

The date modified issue is a known issue in the data panel where it shows the last date the system updated the file, but the history shows the last time the file was saved by you.  We have a ticket to track this in our backlog.

When you are seeing the incorrect data in the 1-Work folder, does using the refresh icon at the top of the data panel fix the problem?  If not, another option could be to try and clear your cache.

The team is working on trying to reproduce the incorrect folder content issue.

Hi thanks. As shown in the video clicking the "refresh" button does not refill my 1-work project with items that should be in there. It has no effect on my previous items project as well.

Any chance you have a list of items that will be effected after I clear my cache? I'm assuming nothing too important?

Would you like any logs before I clear my cache?

Yes. Logs would be nice.

Clearing the cache clears out Fusion's local copy of data that we retrieve from services and will ensure that we are re-loading data from the servers on the next attempt to fetch data.

If you click the web link icon for the folder in the data panel, do you see the expected content in the Fusion Team web experience?

Logs attached. Noticed issues around 8am this morning.

You mean clicking this?:

I would expect this file:

To be here:

Not within the "A Old" folder that is within the "1-Work" project as it is currently:

Issues remain after clearing cache data/restarting fusion.

- Recent data project mostly empty

- "1-Work" project still has file within "A OLD" folder (lower priority so I never moved it)

- Mismatch between last saved and last updated times.

FYI My laptop was sleeping at 5:23AM I believe with Fusion still open but can't remember.

For the recent list, we need to do more digging in the logs to see what is going on.

For the file that you searched for; the search results show the project that contains the file, not the path to the file.  So the result showing the 1-Work result is showing that name because that is the project name, even though it is in the "A Old" folder.  I can't say how that file got into that folder, but since the web and the data panel are both showing that file in that location, that is where it is currently stored.

The last saved and last updated times is a known issue that we are tracking in our backlog. It is only a display issue, the data is right in our backend.

+1 I have similar issues on occasion with files not saving in the correct location and especially drawings not saving in the same place as the model.
