FFF errors from one file propagate to other files

I have a problem where the errors in one file show up in other files, along with a warning that tells me that my file is out of date. When I hover on the out of date warning, it highlights the original problem file even though I am working on a separate file. It also gives me the same errors that were present in the original problem file. The only relations these two files have is that they are stored in the same folder.

These are the warnings that come up that do not seem to have solutions to them in the forums. These are the warnings that come up that do not seem to have solutions to them in the forums. The darker part is the model I am currently working on, and the light blue part is the original model that had problems. The darker part is the model I am currently working on, and the light blue part is the original model that had problems.

Hi @jordanbuhler98

Fusion does not practice black magic or witchcraft.

So an issue can't reproduce from file to file.

Either you are using the same print settings on these files, and there is an error in it.

Or if you look closer to your first screen capture, you should see:

parts are above the platform without support/rafts.

Apparently, your part is floating over the build plate.

And as no support or raft is defined in the print setting, the system analyse this as an error.

Regards.

@serge.quiblier

I understand that, and I have played around with heights, adding supports, and, particularly the place part on build plate feature. However, even if I fix that, and get rid of

"TorpedoToolpathGenerator::generateToolpath(): parts are above the platform without supports/rafts"

, I am still left with:

"Error: Unexpected problems during preview creation.

Error: Could not generate toolpath.

Error: LibTorpedo Error 13 (Settings not constructed (13))

Error: Failed to validate parameters."

And even if I have something wrong in my setup, that does not explain why other models are highlighed in a separate models FFF workspace with Fusion saying that the component has out of date references.

Hello @jordanbuhler98

sin ce the first error is cleared, we are left with a print settings issue, or something special on the part. (body inside another body, intersecting shapevery thin thickness...)

But we won't be able to diagnose only based on the error message. You had to share your file.

You can either share a link to your Fusion file. See:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

or you can save an archive (f3d, or f3z) and share it on the forum
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

Cheers
