Tried numerous times thinking it was the slow internet connection but no completed update, gets to 99% and then eventually fails.
The log report is attached.
Thanks

The install application did not have enough permission to remove existing files needed for update installation. I think you need sign out of your current account and log in using one which has full administrator rights to your system. Then I would use the Fusion 360 Clean Uninstall tool, then restart again logging back in with a full administrator account. I would temporarily turn off Windows User Access Control (UAC) for the account and then re-install.

Appreciate the reply and thank you, Fusion 360 works fine with out the update, for the time being at least I'll leave it as is. Takes hours to download then to spend more hours waiting till the Update installs. I've never had a program requiring more re-installs then Fusion 360.
Just checked, I do have administrator rights, I presume it is full, do recall one can have partial administrator rights. No doubt re-install will fix it though.
Never gave the User Account Control any thought, turned it off and downloaded the update and it did install.
Any one else run into a failed install might give that a try befor a re-install which was my next move.
