The Forum users will need to see your model to troubleshoot it.  Please attach it.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

As your assembly is large, please note which sketch and its location where you are experiencing the issue.

You will have to create a Screencast to show your problem as I do not see anything wrong.  You have multiple closed profiles so if you select one at a time, you will get multiple bodies.  If you select multiple profiles and extrude you will get one body.  You need to show your problem using something besides just pictures.  You could also isolate some components to make it clearer what you are seeing as this is a very large assembly.

You are not the original poster but if you are trying to add a Screencast use the Screencast URL and use the "link" icon above.  Your Screencast has not made it to this post.

This is a very complex assembly and you are trying to extrude a profile, to an object, you have not indicated in "the Active Component".  The Screencast will show the process of determining the component and making it active.  You always should activate the component before any sketching or feature creation so these will appear under the correct component.  You will notice your sketch in in the top level for this feature.  Anyway, this will solve your issue.

By the way, you need to add some assembly constraints or rigid groups or you are going to have a mess on your hands.  The slightest touch and component move all over the place.

That's beautifully solved the issue. Thanks for the solution and the tips. Still learning and that model is really mess. it is like a shipping container city keeps growing and growing.
