I get an unexpected result in this sample file. Extruding a circle from the object gives a non circular result that is slightly off center from the sketch. Not sure if that is a bug or not.

If your reverse your From and To references, it seems to work OK.  Maybe the complex curve of the elbow is causing the issue when it is trying to calculate the from reference.  Model is attached.

yes, @jhackney1972 is correct.  What is missing here is the setting that is available in the "to object" "extend" setting:

This option allows you to choose whether to go all the way through the body, or just up-to it.  This is on our list to address at some point.  Till then, do as @jhackney1972 suggests and flip "to" and "from"

Thanks @jeff_strater and @jhackney1972 for looking at this. I was just pointing out an odd situation. Once I did figure out why my center was off, I changed my workflow to avoid the problem. I guess the circle was turned into a spline on the surface of the tube??
