Extrude/Cut direction is reversed on mirrored part

I have a very simple part which is the mirror of another part. For some reason, when I sketch something on planes parallel to the mirror plane and try to extrude or cut the body it appears to fail. What's actually happening is the preview shows the extrude/cut happening in the correct direction, but the applied extrude/cut is happening in the opposite direction meaning it either extrudes into the body or cut nothing.

I saved the part into an external file and it works fine.

I deleted the mirror and made the part again from a mirror but it's giving me the same issue.

Extruding/cutting on planes perpendicular to the mirrored plane work fine.

I started a brand new design to test the issue and was able to confirm it happening there as well.

I cannot replicate your failure when I create a model using your description.  Please attach one of yours that exhibits this problem.

Component B(mirrored), features Extrude 1 and Extrude 2 both have the issue for me.

This looks like this thread as well. Only punching in the opposite direction does not work either.

Can not punch holes in mirrored componenets

rotating the component by 90degrees cuts the object.

might be a solution for some until the bug is fixed
