Hi all, im new to fusion 360, i have a quick question...

i can get the result i want using the cut function but what i want is to join not cut. ie to make a cylinder shape come out of the body of my main object and only up until the edge of the face of that main body - which is curved. I plan to make this a rectangular pattern that adds ribs to the main object from top to bottom length ways.

i hope that makes sense?

Regards

Andrew

Extrude the pipe out past the main body so all have overhang, and pattern them,

then use Split Body, Using the side wall of Main Body to trim the pipes.

Actual detail will vary dependant on the design itself.

Might help...
