Extreme amounts of lag when using .dxf file.

Hi there I'm experiences extreme amounts of lag when editing a .dxf file.

I wondered if the the amount of nodes in the dxf file were causing this lag so I extruded and turned into a object then deleted the sketch file/dxf file . didnt work still getting silly amounts of lag. It takes around 1 minuet to add a fillet to an edge.

My computer specs are:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GHz

RAM - 16.0 GB

Graphics card  - Radeon RX 470 Strix 4GB

Im using the hobbyist version of Fusion 360

the .dfx file is 1.04 MB (lol)

I tried two computers, both with high specs and both are the same amount of lag

Is this a graphics card problem?

A fusion problem ?

thanky

Zip and Attach the original dxf file here.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I was gonna try and take out as many nodes as possible, but don't know just yet.

The original dxf is rubbish.

It is made up of thousands of tiny straight lines rather than as curves.

Even straight lines are made up of tiny segments???

Yeah I thought that was the case.

Just wondering what's a good program to maintain these nodes.

I don't know what this means?

Did you create the geometry, or did you get it from someone else?

I see a lot of symmetry.

It looks like only 1/4 of the geometry would need to be created as high quality geometry.

I got it from somewhere else.

Just searching for a program that will spline the vectors. this will then help with all that lag.
