Extract a selection set from object

I have imported an STL model into Fusion 360 and have created a selection set for the part that I want to extract from the model. How do I perform the extraction now? I don't believe the "plane cut" tool is suitable in my case since there are a lot of cuts to be made at various angles. I have just begun using Fusion 360 and since it is identifying the selection very nicely, I believe there should be an easy way to cut it as well but can't seem to find it.

Thanks for your response. I actually want to print this selection. How do I extract it to a separate body/component?

Best I can suggest, make a copy model, delete everything else.  Being a mesh model, I would likely build a new one.
