Exports to STLs fail

Hi,

I've been having this issue for the past week and I am unsure as to how I fix it. Whenever I try to export my model as an STL, it will complete and say that the job failed. This happens to all of my models. I also have an issue where I go to Utilities > Make > 3D Print, set all my settings up, then I get this error message attached below. I've uninstalled and re-installed Fusion and it still doesn't work.

Thanks for the help,

Thomas

You did not say if you have tried the Save As Mesh command by right clicking on a body in the Browser and saving to a file rather than sending it to a 3D Slicer.  Try this and see if you get the same failure.  If you do not, it probably is because your slicer application is not configured correctly to work with Fusion 360.  Remove the indicated check box when executing the command.

Under the "Output" option, the "Send to 3D print utility" option is greyed out. I don't know how to add a slicing software nor how to just download the .stl file. Please help.

in the video I go through the process of setting up your Slicer, for the "Send to 3D Print Utility" and how to export the STL to a file.  You did not say what your 3D Printing Slicer was or your operating system so I had to use my default.

Thank you for the detailed video. I have included some screenshots of my problems. The "Output" option (the box to check) is greyed out - so that isn't working. Also, it does not give me the option to save to my computer. Is this because I am using the browser based version?

I cannot advise you since I do not use, nor have access to the Browser version of Fusion 360.

@twoodard6MBLD The browser version is running on a remote desktop and has no access to your drives and you have no direct access to its drives so you have to use your hub to import or export designs.
