Exporting to DXF

Exporting to DXF

Hey Group!

I work with 100-200 components/bodies. I'm wanting to export to DXF for laser cutting.

The issue I am having is I need to manually select each component in order to create a sketch, then use project tool.

Is there a way to select ALL components and then create a sketch from them?

Thanks!!!

DXFer from Github is an Addin.

When the modelling is ready - select the faces of all the parts required for the one dxf file.

Use the layer setting.

This will produce one part per layer in the dxf file, that will need manual nesting.

Might help....

Thanks SOOO much. I'll play around with that. Yes, I'm lucky as my laser
cutters do al the nesting for me. They don't mind a 15 meter long file lol.

I found I had to create sketch, then click project, then select each
component (139) one-by-one then click enter. Then that creates a new sketch
which can be exported!

Worked but was terribly slow
