Exported OBJ model, problems with shape

Good day!
When we export file from fusion 360 in OBJ and check this geometry in any 3D program, for example in 3Ds max, we can see that shape is not enough smooth, this is particularly visible on a roundness.
Can you explain how it is possible to control shape before export fo OBJ format?
I don't mean "BRep to mesh" modify, it doesn't give me a proper result (because of face normals etc), I am interested only in OBJ properties (Export - OBJ). To get more detailes OBJ file.

Hi @Ovskiy
The obj format is based on triangles, so there must be some approximation involved if you export a model with a curved shape like this one. Some people may want a smaller obj file with a coarse or loose approximation, others may want a bigger file with a tight approximation.

One way to get control over the refinement uses the "BRep to Mesh" command (you may need to "create base feature" first).  This command displays options for refinement and you can see a preview of the mesh as you adjust the settings. Once you have created a mesh with a suitable resolution, you can export that mesh to an obj file.

The following recording is a bit old now but shows the "BRep to Mesh" conversion.

Hope that helps!
