I have a hobby licence, Fusion updated itself and now gives me this message, even though when I check my account I'm signed up for personal use, and all my drawings are now read only?

Very annoyed as spent a couple of hours on one of them and now can't save it!!

It has expired.

Try to extend it.

It might come in handy.

I just installed Fusion on a new computer build and ran into this problem.  Solved the Expired message by logging into your Autodesk account (https://manage.autodesk.com/home).  Click on the All Products and Services link.  Select Fusion 360 Personal Download now.  I reinstalled using that and my original personal license was updated in Fusion 360.  Hope this helps anybody who runs across this.

This problem still exists.

I just lost a design because I didn't notice the "expired" message until I tried to save it after working for some hours.

Although I then extended my licence, fusion did't recognize it even after 30 minutes and disconnecting and reconnecting from the internet.

I was able to open another Fusion instance simultaneously which worked, but there was no way to transfer the design to the new instance. Copy and paste did not work across instances.

When I tried logging off, it just discarded my design without any notice at all.

Upon opening Fusion again, it recognized the new license, but the design was gone and there was nothing in the recover menu.

Very frustrating.

It still does this. PLEASE FIX THIS!

I just finished a model and only noticed the license warning when I attempted to export as mesh or save it. I can do neither. I went to update the license (for hobbiest), and it says "If you’ve already installed Fusion 360, sign out and log in within the application.".......so I'll have to log off and lose my work.

I would strongly reccommend you change the application to allow a user to SAVE with an expired license. That still forces them to update before they can export or do anything with it. Lack of saving is just making me frustrated and having to redo work. This is very disappointing, especially given that this was posted more than a year ago and you didn't fix it. At least put the license update as a popup or something so I actually notice it before wasting time........

(*$&%!) <----respectful surrogate swears to represent my sincere frustration.

tl;dr: FIX YOUR LICENSE UPDATE PROCESS!
