Examples of three confusing things

First I apparently inadvertently changed the WCS offset from 1 to zero.....okay got a quick answer just change it back to one....all good.

Thing is most input boxes red highlight non permisable values when you screw up in both design and manufacture space.....

This adds to overall confusion.

Second I went to a stock bottom setup to help increase accuracy.  Okay worked out nice.

when i flipped the part the program used the stock point based on the original stock.... fine I get that now.

But in the flipped set up the stock says from preceding set up.....

Not really true is it.

Third I have listened to many instructional videos on all sorts of topics....(thanks to all of the creators).  I have read a whole pile of forum posts and solutions (special thanks to all authors).

I forget who it was but someone made my aware that highlighting the design sketches that were important to a particular toolpath....made selecting the toolpath much much easier.

This was a breakthrough concept for me.   I had assumed that for some reason the design space was very much separate front the manufacture space.  This probably needs more advertising.

I have noticed other examples of what I will call hidden tricks and nonuniform application of basic user inputs

I will begin  to note these down now that I have figured out they exist.....

Probably need to figure out trippy lightings can we have a functional escape key comments....

Still have tonnes to learn....(that's 10% more than tons to learn) hah.
