Escape/Abort command

Escape/Abort command

Not applicable

Quite often I experience that Fusion 360 stops responding when trying to Offset a face, or extrude something, split a body or something. Many times if I try to offset, it always starts with Automatic in the settings, and it won't do. If I switch to New Offset, it works. But the main issue is that it takes ages before anything happens when things gets a bit complicated... I wish that pressing Esc would abort the command within a few seconsd, and not after 10-15 minutes...

Sigh...

this is something that we are working on.  However, it is not an easy problem to attack, to interrupt a complex geometry algorithm in the middle and clean up.

And, I know this is obvious from your statement above, but I definitely never use Press/Pull.  Press/Pull is kind of a meta-command that invokes other commands (Extrude, Fillet, Offset Faces, etc).  I will just go directly to Offset Faces for an offset result, or Extrude for an Extrude result, etc.
