Error "Your operating system is not supported" when I try to download Fusion 360 to latest Windows 10 pro

I just purchased a $2000 laptop for 3D modeling, and I'm facing this aggravating error message when I attempt to download Fusion 360:

"Your operating system is not supported. Fusion 360 is supported on 64-bit Windows 7 or newer and 64-bit Mac OS X 10.13 or newer."

I've already tried running windows updates, using different browsers, user agent switching hackery, disabling all adblockers - NOTHING WORKS!

Why is the company making it so difficult to download the software? That shouldn't even be an issue in 2020!

First, try restarting your computer. If the problem persists, please check out this page.

It sounds like you've already done some of the recommended steps. Can you let me know the results of this solution?

"To verify the results of which Operating System is being used by your computer, visit the User Agent String webpage.

Note: If the operating system is blank, this is the cause of the warning message. This may occur on machine where the OS was upgraded. If so, edit the user agent string to be correct."

Phil thanks for getting back to me.

Turns out the website didn't like me using my cellular hotspot that masks
all outgoing traffic as from an Android phone (Android app called PdaNet+).

After connecting to a regular wifi network, the download started as
expected, without errors.
