Error Message: 'Cannot Find Downloaded File' When Opening File

Anonymous

Receiving an error when attempting to open files that previously opened without issue.

Error message:

Cannot find downloaded file. Expected filepath: /Users/Mark/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/5ULXRNVWAJLQ/W.login/F/_九疊繆篆-周文豪印.cf67aedb-c2e2-495b-952e-77c84983b2e6.f3d

I see found previous Posts about issues with non-ASCII characters in names. However, I have been using Chinese names for over one year without issue until now, so suspecting it is something else causing the problems.

Hi Ahmed. No, never got a reply. I made up my own work around that seems to have reduced the occurrence of the issue, but not fully eliminated it. I am pretty sure the problem is a result of errors caused by foreign characters in the file name (for me, Chinese). What I do now if make sure that I don't copy a file with Chinese characters in the file name. I first change the name to English, copy, and then change the name back to Chinese. This has solved the issue with files have worked with recently. This said, many of my older files are still unaccessible.
