Environment Distorting when rendering

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to to some renders of a vehicle but when i go flatten ground" it distorts the environment.

 

What am i doing wrong?! Ref image attached, pre render.

 

Help!

Try the rendering without flatten ground turned on.

Good idea but how do you then make it look like the vehicle is not floating
in mid air?

If you have sketch geometry that is below the object, it will force the ground to move to it. The ground is always trying to stay attached to the bottom of your objects, even when they are sketches that may or may not be visible.

 

You can move the plane using Scene Settings.

It has one limitation, you can't force it to snap to your object, so you must manually place the ground plane.
