Empty timeline after loading part

Hi,

When I design a new component, save it, close it and then reload it : the timeline is then empty, it only shows the importation of the model.

I would expect to see the complete timeline to be saved as well. Is there any way of doing that ?

Thanks you for your help.

Are you importing a model then modifying? If that's what you're doing, after opening right click the top item in the browser and select capture history at the bottom of the right click menu.

If that's not what you're doing can you get a screenshot of your screen.

Please don't attach pictures. There's an option Photos on the editor toolbar to embed them, please use this option.

Hi,

I am aware of that "capture history' but that's what my problem is: when i click on it, I expect to see all the timeline of the model that I designed previously. But instead, it only shows the base feature:

You have to enable history first before creating anything. Was this an import to start with or do you need to change your preferences so you start your new designs with history enabled?

Honestly i'm thinking a screencast of the entire procedure is paramount here.
