Electrical noise

I just recently started using a wired set of headphones and I've noticed that while I am moving my mouse over the workspace within Fusion 360 I can hear electrical noise from my headset. The only other way I can describe it is like the screech as metal rubs on metal. The noise isn't loud but I can hear it while I have music playing. The noise changes when I'm mousing over faces to a sound like static. If I press and hold any mouse button as I move the mouse the noise is not present. If I move my mouse over the data panel the noise is not present. The noise is a quieter static when mousing over the timeline and other menus. The volume of the noise is not changed by the volume level set in windows. So far I have not observed this noise in any other program so it seems to be isolated to the Fusion 360 workspace.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm running Windows 10 with Fusion 360 version 2.0.10446

6700K, GTX970

Update: I noticed that I get a similar noise when rotating the view in Simplify3d. Maybe it's a graphics card thing.
