Editing T_Spline form after GD

I have a T-spline that I need to edit to remove some stress concentrators, but I am finding that some faces are highlighted with blue edges, and are fixed. Is there any way I can manipulate these?

yes, that is true, the "end" edges are locked to prevent you from possibly editing those edges so that they no longer intersect the Preserve bodies.  However, you can un-freeze those edges by double-clicking the edge to select the loop, and choosing "Unfreeze" from the Modify menu
