The most annoying thing for me in Fusion 360 is when you edit existing feature or sketch it's almost always somewhere FAR off screen. I know I can hit zoom to fit, but IMHO it should center the part that you editing automatically.  It makes zero sense for part that I'm working on not be visible... I wonder if there's an preference option to turn automatic centering?

Hi,

Please share the file and name the parts or features involved.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post.

I don't see how this would be helpful. It happens to ANY file. Just move view to the side and double click on any feature. It will not center. Here's a screencast example.

That is exactly why you should Attach your file here.
Your timeline is full of highlighted unresolved issues.

Attach your file and someone will help you to learn how to use Fusion so that you can recognize and resolve the issues yourself.

Once again it's NOT ABOUT ANY SPECIFIC FILE, it's about how Fusion 360 program functions.  I picked one file at random just to show the problem.

Here' I created one from scratch to demonstrate the issue..

Turn off auto look at sketch. With it on, when you finish a sketch, it takes you back where you started the sketch.

Hi wmhazzard, thank you so much! I just tried it, unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything in this regard 😞   Fusion won't move view to show sketch that I'm working on, so I have to hunt for it...

You can right click on the sketch in the browser and select Find in Window and it will move to the center of the screen. It is also supposed to work by right clicking on the sketch in the timeline and selecting Find in Window but it does not work, probably another bug.
