Edit one of stacked circular patterns

I have multiple circular patterns with the same center. Thus, the pattern icons are stacked. If I press down, I can see all of them, and can move between them. How do I edit the parameters of one (not the top one)?

This is on a Mac.

Your menu, works for what you want,

that menu is called Select Other, a little bit tricky,

move the mouse inside the list, up and down, and when the mouse hits a new line, in the window that selection becomes highlighted, so as the mouse moves, each pattern will light up ,

when it is lit, click again to select it, and not the wrong one.

Might help....

I see the list, and as I move the mouse up/down, the different elements light up as you say.

However, clicking on one just unhighlights the elements. And AFAIK on a circular pattern, I actually need to double-click to bring up the circular pattern parameter box (for example to change the Quantity). I haven't figured out how to do that with them stacked.

One sketch per feature is a recommendation that I follow, so I would not have considered your plight.

Not sure I have an answer now.

That's a good idea, thanks. I'm a Fusion 360 newbie, so still figuring things out.

Did you ever figure out how to select the patter to edit it... It just keeps un-highlighting as soon as I click on it.

I understand that it's better to not get in this situation... but if you are there is it better to just start over?

No, I didn't. It seems best not to get into that situation.

I've found myself in this situation before and a solution that worked for me was:

Selecting the correct pattern from the little menu that pops up when you hold a click on the stack,

Then instead of double clicking the pattern icon, I right click and select Edit Pattern.

Usually that edits the highlighted icon and not just the top one in the stack.

Hope it works for ya!

Thanks fot the solution, it draw me creazy during hours .... I made multiple circular patterns at same place and it's impossible to move the circular pattern icon ....

It's strange to see than selecting the Circular pattern with a long press don't directly pop the modify box 😞

Hi,

My recommendation:
Patterns should not be created in sketch mode but by features.
This way, when changes are made (e.g. quantity), the features generated from the sketch do not have to be updated manually.

I do the same, but there are situations where it is more practical to do it like this,

I needed to make 3 notches at exotic angles,
I preferred to do them in the sketch because I had to change the angles and the thickness of the notches, and everything is in the sketch and I only have the variable to change so that everything is done by itself
