Edit mirror feature bug - selecting additional features on other components does not work

Create three components, front and back faces coplanar.

Create a sketch to define a cutout on the front face of each component.

Create  mirror to replicate the cutout on the back of the first component only.

Now edit the mirror to include the cutouts on the other two. It appears to select them ok but the mirrored features don't appear on the model.

If you create a new mirror and select all three cutouts it works fine, so I assume the behaviour above is a bug.

You have an error in your model in the way you create the three components and then the cutouts.  In the Screencast I explain your error and show you that when created properly, the mirror command works just fine.  Model is attached if you would like to look at it.

Hi John,

I really appreciate the time you took to explain how this should be modelled. I'm slightly confused as I thought that Fusion was deliberately written to be flexible in how a design is created. And it appears to do exactly what I want as long as I create a new mirror feature, it's just when I go back to edit an old one that it doesn't mirror to all the components/bodies as expected. I'm presuming this is unintended behaviour (i.e. a bug) even if what I've done isn't the preferred approach to modelling.

Best regards, Geoff
