DXF export does not match drawing

I'm having an issue with multiple files that will not create an accurate DXF given the drawing/sheet metal extrusion. I have various sign designs that are imported via SVG. From there, I'm scaling, adding mounting holes, and  converting to sheet metal. When I create a flat pattern and generate the DXF everything seems to work fine. However, when I load that DXF into sheetcam, the file does not match the sheet metal contours and the file is not useable. Any suggestions? I've tried projecting geometry into a sketch and that has not helped. I'm also picky about what side of the sign is being cut so the visible side of the sign is in the +z direction on the plasma table. Thanks for the help!

That's what I need. Thanks! What is the suggested fix? I have multiple other files the same way.

My steps are all in the Timeline.

I rotated -90 deg about X axis (I should have gone +90 deg).  I then moved to XY plane (unnecessary).  Start a new sketch on XY plane. P for Project and select the face (not edges), selecting face will get all edges in one pick.  Finish Sketch.
Right click on the sketch in the browser and Export.
