DWG import into F360 and Wrong Scale

I have an AutoCad drawing that loads in Fusion 360 v2.0.5811 with the wrong scale (10x) .  I checked the original file using Autodesk Online and the scale/dimensions are correct.  I've seen this issued reported since 2014 for various files formats.  I'm surprised to encounter it with an ACad drawing.  My drawing is mm,  my Fusion 360 default is set to mm, I'm still getting a scale issue 😞

I tried scaling the drawing but it used the fusion 360 origin part center, and not my set origin bottom left corner.  so now my small part is way off in space.  Is there an anchor feature to go along with the scale function?

Every time this has come up it is because the units are not set correctly in the file, there are a lot of AutoCAD users that don't know how to set units correctly.

If you have AutoCAD try running -dwgunits command and see what it returns. If the unit information is not set correctly Fusion defaults to CM, the online translators are not linked to Fusion so do not know your defaults.

Can you share the DWG or a sample file from the same person?

Mark,

You were right!  Oddly the drawing was set to inches for length.    What confused me was the scale factor wasn't 2.54 or .039, it was ~10x.  I just assumed coming out of Europe it would  be metric.

So I just scaled it in autocad, simpler for me.  Oh and you have to scale all (X/Y/Z) not just X/Y otherwise I could not extrude in 360.

Thx!
