Drawing Workspace: Text Note Leader Crash & Font Size

This may be a new bug as I have not had it happen before. FUSION 360 error: Working in Drawing workspace, sporadically while placing Text Note leader on edge (or trying on a surface - would be nice it that could be done) the drawing automatically crashes, closing the active drawing without saving and opening a new blank workspace. No error message and no method of saving before it closes. SAVE…SAVE…SAVE your work often!

Over all the improvements to the Drawing Workspace are greatly appreciated. Versatility over text font size for individual elements of a drawing would be a "nice have". If you adjust the sheet font it affects most of the text used in the drawing like tables, text boxes, measurements. An override setting for each sheet would make that process a lot easier.

Just a few thoughts and comments.

Best regards to all, Kevin

The drawing workspace in fusion is less than ideal. Any type of custom annotations are inherently difficult, and dimension associations are not explicit. When ever we need to annotate a model that we worked in fusion we export to .step and then xref an autocad. It’s the only way that we’ve found realize AIA dimensions on complex fusion modes.

Thanks

Thank you for your comments Kyle. Fusion has come a long way. AutoCAD has a lot more integrated capability to prepare drawings. I have had to export and import to AutoCAD at times. I still would like to see further integration to streamline exporting a model from Fusion directly to AutoCAD.
