Drawing section view line errors

Hello,

I am creating a drawing of a hollow part, but when I try and place a section view the resulting image has missing edges and also adds lines that are not present.

I have tried cutting the part in different places but it will not generate lines correctly.

Why is this happening and is there anything I can do that will solve this?

Thanks for posting! This certainly looks like it could be a bug - would you mind sharing the design in which this problem is occurring with me? The easiest way to share a drawing is to share a public link of the drawing file - this will package the drawing and part files up in an F3Z.

Is there anything I can do to help solve this in the meantime as we need a quick resolution for this problem.

I think there are a few issues.

• One is the the cut line goes through one of the bodies on the outside and the opposing side only the outlines is seen.
• The fillet on the patterned bodies fails to compute for me and when it did it results in issues with the section
• The revolves seem to be surfaces - although i can't figure out where - but when i revise them to full revolutions it cleans up the section:

In that image the only changes were suppressing the fillets on the pattern bodies and changing the first three revolutions to full instead of angle.

Thank you for your solution, this has corrected the drawing section view and now it shows all of the lines.

After testing I discovered that it was only the fillet that was causing the problem. With only that feature suppressed the drawing section view correctly displayed.
