Drawing section causing strange hatches

Hey folks I am designing an entryway in a house and when I try to make a horizontal section  part of a wall above a door I am getting these large diameter circle hatches without any associated geometry that I can determine.  It is really frustrating.  I have tried everything I can to determine the cause of this.  It looks like a large circle across the drawing paper space with an angled hatch and no perimeter and it bears no apparent relationship to anything in the model at this section area.  I would love to show a screenshot of it but what I am working on is from another Architect and I do not have permission to share it online.  Just image a large circle covering most of the section that is a hatch with no perimeter and that is what it looks like.  I am unable to select it no matter where I click on it to try to edit or delete it.  Any ideas or suggestions?   Never seen this one before.  Thanks in advance.

Hi @pete

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

Please can you share an F3Z of your files for us to have a look at? As it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

Thank you but I unfortunately cannot share it.  I was able to remove parts from the drawing and found one that was associated with the strange hatch, actually there were two and I had to hide them both in order to arrive at a drawing that did not have the crazy hatches out in space beyond the actual parts.  I have actually experienced this before in the drawing space and had to do similar.  It causes a lot of frustration because most of the time I need that geometry to show details and dimensions of the project.

Hi @pete

If you can re-produce this in another drawing, please share it with me. If we have an example dataset, we can get the development team to investigate a fix.

Here is a quick screenshot of the problem.  As I said I cannot show the model or most of the geometry but I pared it down to the basics here to show what I am talking about.  Any ideas?

Hi @pete

I'd love more information and a set of files to share with the development team, unfortunately, we can't fix this if we can't see the files, or at least have a method of re-producing the issue.
