Drawing's reference lines - Sometimes solid, sometimes dashed

In a drawing, when I make reference sketches visible some appear as dashed construction lines, some appear as solid lines. What is causing the difference?

In editing the reference sketch itself in the component, setting the line type to construction makes the lines not be visible at all in the drawing, so it must be something else.

Hi @shawn.parella,

I chatted with our QA guys and I have a feeling it has to do with detail size. It should be dotted always (I can see this on my sketches), but we believe if the line segment is too short, we do not scale like AutoCAD would so the line is solid.

I have shared a screencast to show you the difference I am seeing.

Were you able to see in the cast that it does not appear to be a short segment problem. The lines are the wrong type.

Hi @shawn.parella,

I'm still investigating, but the splines in your screencast are what are throwing me off. I'm working with that team to see what the correct spline behavior should be, and in what scenarios we see the dashed vs dotted in this (as the splines are short in length before the break in this scenario).

Thanks,
