Drawing only opening in browser and not on desktop application

I am trying to open a drawing for editing.

When trying to open it from the desktop app (on Windows) the file is being opened only in the browser.

When attempting to open it in the desktop, it says that Fusion 360 is not installed, when, in fact, it is installed.

Please could you help me to solve this issue?

Regards,

Anand.

I am experiencing the same thing. It was all working correctly yesterday but now none of my projects open when clicking on them. I get redirected to the browser. I am using the Fusion 360 Personal version. I even reinstalled the desktop application for Fusion 360 but still have the same results. I can also no longer drag and drop parts that were uploaded into existing projects.

Any ideas?

I am experiencing a similar issue.  Designs open in web browser view instead of in application.

An additional piece of information... if I create, save, and then close a new design from Fusion 360, I cannot then re-open it in Fusion 360... it opens in a web browser view just like all the rest of my designs.

It appears Autodesk fixed something, because I am once again able to open my designs in Fusion 360.
