Drawing module unresponsive

The drawing module have (in my opinon) always been very weak, but, after the last update (feb 2024) it´s become virtually unusable in our organisation. Quite often it just "locks" up and we get a spinning dialog, and it just sits there for hours. Closing (forcing) fusion is the only solution. I hope this is something that is getting addressed in future updates, because the drawing module makes us very unproductive with lots of waiting and slow performance (and, we´ve got some pretty powerful workstations).

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file that exhibits this behavior when you go into drawing to your  local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Do you have the view creation on manual or in the new automatic creation?

May I know what's the workflows when the "locks" happens?

Recently, we resolve one performance when create drawing views or open drawing files, and it will be available in coming update. It is impacted by the large size of temp folder. Please clear up the files in temp file and check if it helps. (Type %temp% in Windows Run command, and delete files in temp folder)

If the "locks" happens on the workflow of editing view, such as view scale, this is an open issue and we are still working on investigating this issue. Please help to launch Process Explorer when work on Fusion, and create mini dump files from both AcCoreConsole.exe and Fusion.exe when issue happens, then share the files with us. They will be helpful for us to check which processes have particular handles opened or DLLs loaded. You can also send them via mail. My mail address is 'Liang.chen@autodesk.com'

If it only happens on specific dataset, please share the dataset with us.

Thanks for your support and patience.
