Drawing Issue

Hi there

Every time I create a new view in a drawing and attempt to suppress components from that particular view it beachballs eventually recovers and takes an unusable amount of time to catch up. Why is this happening?

Thanks

It sounds like Fusion may be redrawing the placed views in the drawing. Is the component that you're toggling the visibility for a complex one? Can you share the Fusion design?

Thanks,

It looks like the views take a long time to redraw because of the modeled threads. The modeled threads are computationally expensive to project into a drawing view. If you suppress the threads, you'll see the performance increase for redrawing views. Try this link out as an example.

I hope this helps.

I think I can see what you mean in your drawing however how do you suppress
the threads?

Thanks

@Anonymous, as below image, you could change thread feature to turn off 'Modeled' option if it's not required for you. It could help 2d drawing generate drawing views faster.
