Drawing (drafting) does not work

I am using an educational licence. I want to create a drawing of my design. I clicked on design->DRAWING-> From Design . then I clicked ok with default settings. But the drawing window appears for a second and immediately closed automatically. Is is drawing feature not available for the educational licence.

I am on a Mac using the free 360 version. Did the steps you did, from a model to Drawing, From Design, the very next window (new design) asked for a name then a window for selecting size, views, etc. Perhaps start fresh with a cube and try the same steps. The default setting you mentioned I did not see, but I am no expert. Generally toward the top of the browser list one sets the units and I think also in personal settings.
