Drawing dimensions slightly off from CAD model

When making a drawing from a CAD file, I noticed the dimensions are not precise, usually 0.001-0.005" off.

It seems random, you can see in the CAD model the distance between those small holes on the 3/8 shaft is 0.395" in the CAD but the drawing displays them as 0.400."

The shaft is 0.375" but the drawing displays it as 0.380."

The recess for the snap ring is 0.303" in the CAD but the drawing displays it as 0.300"

The little 6 holes on the centerline are 0.059" in the CAD but displayed as 0.060" in the drawing.

The length of the shaft is 4.061" in the CAD but the drawing displays it as 4.060."

The distance between the inward face of the snap ring groove and center of the first small hole IS 0.81 in the CAD and this is displayed correctly.

What's going on here?

It looks like you need to increase the precision of the units one more decimal place in the drawing. If that doesn't work, please attach and f3d file of your model.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Sketch1 not fully defined?

Extrude2 unnecessary.

Sketch3 dimension is in mm and doesn't match your problem statement?

Extrude 5 is unnecessary.

Extrude 6 is unnecessary.

Back in a minute with my "solution".

@danotranto

Check the Attached.  Make sure that I did not make any mistakes.

In your problem description you claim that you can see decimal places that you do not show in your image.

Make sure you set the correct number of decimal places...  (double click on questionable dimensions)

Do you really see three decimal places in your image?

For example .4 is not .400...

Changing the resolution of the sketch dimension to 3 places fixes these problems. Is there a way to set 3 decimal places as default?
