Draping fabric

Hello

Is there an easy way to drape a fabric sheet over a structure in fusion as if you were designing a tent?

Hey JoeMThomas,

You can make flat patterns from complex surfaces using the ExactFlat add-in, that's probably the closest workflow to what you're describing that could be achieved in Fusion.

other than what @jodom4 suggested, if you want to actually physically drape a sheet over an object, it's off to blender! You could feasibly export your object from Fusion, import to Blender, drape your sheet or whatever it is, export that result and import into Fusion for a pretty realistic result. not sure, but you might even be able to flatten it with that plugin he mentioned.
