Hi @KLathwell ,

Can you check if your timeline marker is rolled all the way to the end. Only then you can drag components in the browser.
If it still didn't help then please attach the designs that you have already completed in Fusion 360 and also a screencast/video of what you are doing will help us to understand.

Hi @KLathwell ,

The timeline is as shown in the pic.

If you can drag it to the end then we can move the components.

Hi,

Please tell us which component you want to move and where it should go.

Thanks for your support, so I have found my time line but I have noticed a bigger issue. When my drawing stays at the first time line, every thing looks fine with no errors, as in capture the capture below

Capture 2.JPG

Now when I click on the tab to move to the end of my time line to drag and drop, I have 2 errors showing as below

Capture 1.JPG

I can see where the error lies on the Plane and Sketch

Full Timeline.JPG

So plane 4 was an offset plane for my draw from drawer divider:

Sketch 12 was a sketch which I projected to draw the front cabinet draws.

How can I resolve this error without delete all work after the plane insertion and the sketch without losing my work.

I have also uploaded my drawing file if this helps

Hi @KLathwell ,

To fix the Plane:

Its difficult to find from which reference the construction plane was created.(If you remember the reference then right click on the Construction plane and redefine the reference)

In the attached "Kitchen Cabinets v26_dsouza.f3d" design, i have measured the distance of the construction plane and redefined the distance.

To fix the sketch:

You can right click on the sketch from the timeline and redefined the plane you selected to project.

Good morning. One more question please. I think I have seen what the issue has been.

My drawing is fully constrain but I see that when I change a parameter such as cabinet width, the original construction plane stay in it's original position. My assumption was that when you change a parameter all object, sketches, construction planes also changed. Is this correct or have I misunderstood parameters.

Many thanks for your continued patience

Hi @KLathwell ,

In your future communications please address below image workspace as Sketch not Drawings, for drawings we have a separate workspace.

Screenshot 2021-02-06 at 5.56.16 PM.png

It depends based on how we have defined the parameters.

This Sketch Parameters video will walk you through some basics of Fusion 360 Parameters.
