Download links on previously shared designs from personal license

Hi,

I have a maker blog about my designs in F360, and had been sharing my designs using the built-in "Share Public Link" functionality.

But they are now not downloadable as a result of the license change, and all my previously shared links have become basically useless.

Can we at least have previously shared links grandfathered so they are still downloadable, so we don't have to go back and change all the links?

For new designs I don't mind sharing .f3d files through Google Drive. Not sure who that change benefits, but hey, if that's what Autodesk wants... having to re-export and change all existing links is very annoying though.

Thanks

Matthew

Can you try creating a new link and posting it in a reply here? I wasn't aware of publicly downloadable links being disabled for free licenses- I've asked a colleague to confirm whether or not that's true.

These links sometimes expire, this could explain what you're experiencing.

Thanks Jonathan.

The share link doesn't expire, but once the design is opened there is no longer a link to download the design (if the viewer wants to import and edit it), which makes the link sharing not very useful for actually sharing designs.
