Display issues

I have two problems that showed up recently. First the colors of a combine cut have changed making it more difficult to see the cutting body and second, when doing a boundary fill, the new body space does not highlight making it difficult to make sure you are clicking the correct box, clicking in the space where the body should be does select the correct box but there is no highlight.

And one more suggestion, could the dimension dialog box stop following my cursor around, it is always in the way of the cursor.

Thanks for the report. I can repeat these issues and will log tickets for them.

I noticed that these issues were listed as fixed in the What's new page. The combine cut does work as expected now but for me the Boundary fill has not been fixed and I think it is worse.

In the attached model, the center cannot be selected to make a new body. There are actually two check boxes one on top of the other (right click hold) but no amount of selections will get the center body to form.

The selection of the Cells, using the check boxes, has been impossible for quite awhile as you say.  I have resorted to using a Windows Select to identify the body I want created.  This is sometimes a bit hard to select but it works most of the time.

Yep, and I've reported it a long, long time ago! Years!

Thanks for posting.

The issue that was fixed in the recent release only related to highlighting. There was no fix for "the check boxes overlap and are hard to select", which is an entirely different issue.

Here is a note from the bug report. You can see that in September the colors were greener. Then in October the highlighting was affected. This is the bug that is now fixed, and the appearance is back to the September green.

@Phil.E , I am on the current build and the boundary fill highlight still does not work for me. Yes, the interior is a lighter color green but the selection highlight is not there where you hover over a body and the selection lights up so that you know which body that you are selecting. It used to work that way.

If the tick boxes were usable, they could light up the selection instead of hovering. As they are you have no idea what you are going to get when you select a tick box.

See this model.

Got it. Thanks for the excellent example. FUS-150414 - Boundary fill does not highlight selections.
