Dimensioning from baseline to point on a curve

I am trying to dimension from a baseline to a point on the curve. For #1 on the attached picture, there are no snap points where the radius meets the straight line. For number two, I want to dimenion from baseline to apex of the curve shown.

Additionally, the "drawing annotation" setting button I have seen online is missing from next to the zoom buttons on the bottom of workspace.

You did not supply your model, which is always to best thing to do to get the best answer, so I made a simple sketch to demo.  Take a look at the Screencast.  Start your dimension and select the line first, then hover over the arc and right click to get the context menu, select Pick Circle/Arc Tangent from the list then actually left click select the arc.

If I understand your first dimension required, the point between the arc and the intersection line is a point, it should easy to select the line then this point.  If you supply your model, the forum users can help you out.

He is in the Drawing Environment, and I can’t help, maybe you can switch over from sketches,

we both learn something.

It was brought to my attention that my first reply on how to place the desired dimensions was in the wrong environment.  I did not look at your screen capture close enough to see.  I will correct my mistake in the attached Screencast.

Thanks @davebYYPCU for having a great set of eyes and catching my mistake.

Mistake, no, I was about to reply and saw the drawing border, and bailed. When I bounced out, your message was there, for sketch, the rest is history.
