Difficulty exporting designed bodies to other analysis software

Difficulty exporting designed bodies to other analysis software

I have designed 2 bodies using "FORM" Tool in Fusion 360 and now I would like to export them to COMSOL for analysis purposes. But on exporting the bodies via STL file and .iges file, the bodies are getting hollow from inside in COMSOL. They are made up of two sheets with nothing between them. I had provided thickness function to each of the bodies before exiting Form Tool.  Upon viewing them in Fusion, they are a completely solid body.

Kindly help me understand how to export bodies made from Form Tool to other software without making them hollow from inside.

Thank You

What kind of file types does your other software import? Are .sat or .stp or .step on the list?

Thanks for the design.

I don't think the "form tool" is causing any issues. The iges file you provided opens in Fusion and Inventor without any issues, and in both cases is a solid body with mass. Using Fusion's inspect > validate tool does not find any corrupt surfaces.

Is there some setting in the other software that determines how model data like this is imported?
