Different measurements with analysis on

Can someone tell me why I get different measurements when analysis is on and off?

pretty hard to say without the model.  Can you share it here?  What do the side views of this measurement look like?

Jeff,

Thanks for Trying to assist.  I gave up and started over.  It's all good now but I don't understand why simply adding an analysis would change the dimensions.

In one example you are measuring between two edges that are not on the same plane, therefore the hypotenuse.

In the other example you are either measuring between parallel faces (the best way to measure) or your edges are now on the same plane.

This same question comes up here two or three times a month.
