Solved: Different installations with different extensions

I have a friend with a Fusion installation a little older than mine (a few weeks) that opens many types of files (several extensions including DWG) and my installation, although it works properly, only opens a few. What could be happening?

Is your Fusion 360 license type Personal? If so that is the reason you cannot open DWG and some other types of files. Take a look at this website (scroll down to the lists) and see what is available to a personal license. If you have another type of license, there is another reason.
