Desktop connector crashes

Desktop connector updated and now it crashes when launched.  I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it does the same thing.  A DOS box comes up with something about Sync Roots not found once it sends the error message to Autodesk.  Without the Desktop Connector, Fusion will not launch the sign-in screen in my browser so I can no longer get into Fusion, even if I am logged into my account.
