Design files won't update after making changes off-line

I don't have a  reliable Internet connection in the shop where my mill is so I use a laptop to make changes to programs and design files and then load them onto my controller via thumb drive.  This has been working fine until today when I made changes to four different but related design files including re-ordering the setup names and numbers.  When I reconnected to on-line status, all four files appeared to be updating at the same time with the blue spinning wheel on each of them.  This went on for about 30 minutes and never finished updating any of the files.  There are currently no open design files on the screen.  I can open other unrelated design files just fine but none of the four in question will open.  I tried closing Fusion and starting it again but nothing changed, the files are still stuck.  I suspect that changing the setup names and numbers while off-line may have been my error but can't be sure.  I did get an unfamiliar pop-up after going back on-line but I didn't preserve it and can't now remember what it said.  I clicked on the option that I thought was the right one but it obviously wasn't.  Any ideas or do I need to start a help ticket with Autodesk?

Quick update; I managed to get this issue resolved although I'm still not entirely sure what caused it in the first place. From the Data Panel, I clicked on the saved version drop-down arrow and selected the most recently saved version of the file. It opened and appears to contain the most recent changes I made to the file. It closed fine and works correctly when I re-opened it again. Did the same with the other three files and all seems well.
