Is there a default setting to enable component colouring when opening documents? I've looked around the settings but couldn't find anything, not sure if I missed it. It's a minor annoyance that I have to re-enable this every time I start working on a model.

If there is no such option, I'd definitely suggest that as a feature.

Hi,

The first open design is opened without a color cycle.
If this is switched to color mode, all other designs are automatically set to this state when they are started.

Thanks, günther. It seems that I never noticed this for some reason. Still, it'd be great to have that as default behaviour even for the first document.

You can create your Default Material and Appearance in the Fusion Preferences under the Materials section.  Would this help you with your needs?
