Cylinders and circles disappear during modelling

Sometimes when i try to place cylinder of certain diameter, it just disappears. Diameter in dialog window becomes 0 mm. It is happening in Sketches too, with circles. 

The only workaround is to make cylinder in another place and then align. But this is sub-optimal behaviour for paid software.

Please share a simple example and tell which sketch you are talking about.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach to post

Working without a Timeline, is too.
