Cylinder with hole: copy&past to Box (or plate) body, but Box fills the hole. How to preserve the hole in box body?

Hi,

I want to create one Cylinder (h=20mm) with through hole, then place many copies of this Cylinder to plate or Box (h=5mm) so as the Cylinders and the Box have common part 5mm. But after placing (copy|past Cylinder) common part of the hole is filled with the Box body.

How is it possible to preserve the holes in the Box body after Cylinders placing?

I think the task is typical.

Thanks.

Thanks,

the problem is here HolesBefore.jpg

But after use the Rectangular Pattern option I've changed the prototype Hole properties and it helped: HolesAfter.jpg

1. The prototype Cylinder should be placed on the Box.

2. In the prototype Hole properties in the list of Objects To Cut not only the Cylinder but also the Box should be selected.
