Cutter Diameter changing to 0 on tool after selection

Tool as setup in library is fine.
Tool Before Slection.jpg

Select this tool for my job and I get an Invalid Value Error.

If I try to go back into the tool to check from the Tool Select in the milling action I sometimes get a System Error, which I've uploaded. If I do get into the tool, or go back in via Manage - Tool Library the clone of the tool that is against my project has a missing data message, when opened up it has no diameter value.

Tool Asigned to Project.jpg

Manually setting this value does not fix the tool, it just loses the value again.

I have the used the 46225-K bit from the same library with no issues.

This is an Amana tool from their Fusion 360 library downloaded from https://www.amanatool.com/cnc-tool-databases-for-fusion-360tm-vectric

Hi @fraserP4HFY

There is a post from ‎23-09-2020 where Autodesk employee mentioned the following:

"The issue is a bug and it was discovered and logged (internally) some time ago.

(..)

So, where does that leave you;

1) Move to the new tool library. It does take some getting used to, but it's also what's going to be the standard library moving forward.

2) Create and select the tool immediately. Don't create tool, close library and open it again. It's not pleasant, I recognize.

This issue is not likely to get a lot of work done to it, since the old TL will at some point be retired. There's a fair amount of code involved with it, and the resources spent on something that will be retired is not.....likely. Of course, if there are enough people that are bumping into this issue, that previous statement could be revised."

Here you can see the original thread.

Hope this helps in any way.

@sutherland-Don't think it's the same issue unfortunately as I'm not on the old version of the Tool library, didn't even know there was one, also the tool size is not changing rather it's disappearing.

Found a similar tool in the included Fusion 360 library, which doesn't have the same issues, and compared.

Solution is to copy and then add a corner radius value to the Amana tool and now Fusion is happy.
